Deborah discovered her love for storytelling at the age of five with a
tale about a pink pig. Since then, she has built a distinguished career
as a writer, drama teacher, director, and professional actress.

She has directed more than 325 productions, co-founded a national youth playwriting contest, and taught drama for over 38 years.

She is also the creator of Dramamommaspeaks on TeachersPayTeachers,
where she shares resources for educators and theatre enthusiasts.

When not writing, teaching, or directing, Deborah enjoys movies, traveling,
and caring for her polydactyl cat. She and her husband, a retired instrumental music teacher, are proud grandparents to three grandchildren.
